As part of IFE's encouragement of continuous professional development for its members, IFE organized a technical visit for our members to fire pumps testing facility at CAE Engineering and also a tour of the Grundfos pump factory.

At the CAE fire pumps testing, the visit started with a detailed technical briefing of the testing regime for the fire pumps, including the standards applicable and the differences between international standards, test acceptance criteria and output. After the briefing, CAE demonstrated the testing procedures with the test pump setup within the factory and answered member's queries with regards to the steps involved.
